1. CAREER GOALS: After
10 years as a software developer I seek to broaden my career with new duties by
leveraging my technical experiences and computer programming expertise into
new opportunities and challenges. 2. WORK EXPERIENCE: Aircraft-Store
Loads Compatibility Development Computer Scientist Air
Force SEEK EAGLE Office, 46th Test Wing, Eglin AFB, Florida. Nov
2010 – Jan 2012 Applied Research Assoc. Inc., 962 W John Sims Pkwy.,
Niceville, FL 32578. Nov
2005 – Oct 2010 Tybrin Corporation, 1030 Titan Ct., Ft. Walton Bch, FL 32547. Apr
2002 – Oct 2005 Avionics Test and Analysis Corporation, 4540 E. Hwy 20,
Niceville, FL 32578. Ø Key member of a development team with two Loads
engineers who have created a Generic Loads Code (GLC) program to calculate
the rigid body inertial, aerodynamic, and total forces and moments on
specific load points of a specific aircraft (i.e. A-10, F-16, MQ-9) and also
on the stores mounted on the aircraft, given the aircraft data, configuration
loading, and maneuver response input parameters. This resulted in an
algorithm that is a generic three-dimensional free-body diagram generator
(published in April 2010). To support these calculations wrote cross-platform
C++ Math and Loads Libraries. The Math Library has found additional uses as a
compiled dynamic link library, tailor-able to meet project specific analyses
for use from within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. A GLC GUI was also written
to create Windows batch run scripts. A regression test set was also created
so that future modifications can be checked for correctness. Ø Author and maintainer of the code, data, and
documentation for the F-16 NzW/Fuel Burn Microsoft Access application,
written in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Structured Query Language
(SQL). The program is used by AFSEO Loads and Stability & Control
engineers to analyze flight characteristics and limitations of the F-16
aircraft given store loading choices from a Graphical User Interface or an
input file. This code is updated every year at the end of the annual
AFSEO-Lockheed Martin joint F-16 T.O. review. Ø Author and maintainer of the Store Loads Generic
Rational Document build tool, an Access VBA application, which creates the
majority of a Loads Flight Clearance Report based on the engineer’s choice of
aircraft and store loading from a Graphical User Interface. Ø Ported and modified Lockheed Martin F-16 Loads
Code to run in dos (Windows). Ø Maintainer of CFP database and Documan document
database. Ø Author of many 'one off' Microsoft Excel Visual
Basic for Applications and MATLAB projects to assist engineers in their
individual analysis projects. Examples include; the Wind Tunnel Data Linear
Interpolation tool, the Strindx file comparator and the Loads Add-In. I
assist engineers creating their own programming projects and field questions
on data and algorithms. Train new personnel in using the software
mentioned above. Ø As a member of the AFSEO Software Engineering
Process Group, whose task is to created standard software processes and
template forms for the organization, I wrote the software Requirements
Process and cartography. These were modeled on the Capability Maturity Model
Integration to standardize the software developmental lifecycle and
documentation for AFSEO software projects. Ø Member of the Information Assurance Process Group. Ø Member of the Engineering Architecture Process
